About Dinorific Poetry...
In the fall of 2008, Michael Sgrignoli and his then 8-year old son, Ethan, were reading a book before bedtime. Thinking an original effort might make for an interesting father-son "time capsule" project, Michael headed downstairs after Ethan fell asleep and immediately set about writing poems he thought would entertain his son.
Michael and Ethan Sgrignoli of Middletown, PA and a couple friends.
After producing a number of rhyming stories, he asked Ethan to contribute colorful illustrations for each one --with no limitations on color. Once completed, they chose ten of their favorites and arranged to have one single book produced as a family keepsake. But when family and friends expressed unbridled enthusiasm and an interest in having their own copy, they knew it was time to have the book published. The result is a ten-poem "labor-of-love" entitled Dinorific Poetry.
In Dinorific Poetry, you’ll accompany the author and illustrator on a trip to a very cool museum, find out what's buried in their backyard, meet an all-dino rock band, and more.
